Octopus

Cooking is quite a chore when you’re an octopus.
Many hands make light work, as the saying goes, but this is only true if all hands cooperate. The octopus in this animation has eight arms, so you would assume that everything is light work for him. However, when this multi-limbed creature tries to bake a cake, but one arm wants to bake something different than the others, the task becomes a lot more difficult. It’s a clear case of too many cooks in the kitchen!

Octopusis a fun and vibrant 2D animation film from German director Julia Ocker. Like her other animated shorts Zebra (2013), Crocodile (2015) and Wolf (2016), Ocker again displays her talent for making funny, brightly coloured animations about animals that appeal to all ages.
