The conditions below are valid for all discount offers and coupons issued (digitally) by Cinekid, possibly in cooperation with third parties.

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR THE EVENT ‘CINEKID FESTIVAL’, ORGANISED BY THE CINEKID FOUNDATION. REGISTERED OFFICE AT KATTENBURGERSTRAAT 5 BUILDING 003G, 1018 JA AMSTERDAM, HEREINAFTER REFERRED TO AS ‘THE ORGANISATION’.
1.1 These terms and conditions apply to all admission tickets. By obtaining and/or using a ticket and/or entering the venue of the event, the visitor agrees to the contents of these terms and conditions.
1.2 Cinekid operates a code of conduct. By purchasing the ticket, the buyer also agrees in advance to those house rules.
2.1 The agreement between the organisation and the buyer of a ticket comes into effect after the buyer has made a booking for one or more tickets. A booking is irrevocable for the buyer. It is not possible for the buyer to make any changes to agreements entered into. The organisation provides the tickets for the relevant event.
2.2 Purchased tickets will not be taken back and are not subject to the statutory approval period of 7 working days within which a purchase may be cancelled.
2.3 The tickets supplied by the organisation are and remain the property of the organisation and will be made available to the buyer.
2.4 Due to additional costs of, for example, online payment, ticket prices may be higher than the prices printed on the tickets by the organisation.
2.5 The visitor is not permitted to sell or provide the tickets in any way to third parties or to refer to the tickets in commercial communications;
2.6 The organisation reserves the right at all times to refuse bookings from buyers or to impose additional conditions on bookings.
2.7 The organisation does not accept any liability for loss of or damage to tickets by the buyer due to whatever cause. In the event the organisation is requested by the buyer to provide replacement tickets, the organisation is entitled to charge a fee for this.
2.8 In case of questions or problems regarding the online ordering of tickets, the helpdesk can be contacted via service@cinekid.nl.
3.1 The organisation will send e-tickets to the e-mail address provided by the buyer immediately after purchasing tickets online. The organisation does not accept any liability for incorrectly entered data by the buyer as a result of which receipt of the ordered tickets is not possible.
3.2 Upon receipt of the ordered tickets, they must be checked for accuracy by the buyer. Incorrectly printed or otherwise incorrect tickets may be replaced if they are returned by the buyer in good time with a written description of the fault.
3.3 The organisation does not accept any liability for loss of or damage to tickets by the buyer due to whatever cause. In the event the organisation is requested by the buyer to provide replacement tickets, the organisation is entitled to charge a fee for this.
4.1 Only a valid ticket or token gives access to the various paid programme sections of the event.
4.2 Persons under 18 years of age only gain access to the paid programme sections if they are accompanied by a person aged 18 or older. The organisation is authorised to ask persons for identification upon entry. For school programmes, access and identification is arranged with accompanying persons and teachers according to the school rules.
4.3 Digital cameras and camera phones are allowed to enter the festival site, professional video cameras/camcorders and other (sound) recording equipment are only allowed with a press accreditation and/or press ticket.
4.4 It is not allowed to make sound or image recordings of film, television or similar screenings during the festival. In case of violation, the organisation reserves the right to confiscate or delete the material.
4.5 Furthermore, the following items are not allowed on the festival grounds: glassware, alcoholic drinks, drugs, fireworks, (fire) arms, dangerous objects and professional photographic, film and other recording equipment. Whether professional equipment is involved is solely at the discretion of the organisation. The organisation will confiscate unauthorised items at the entrance. Legal valuables can be collected later. Illegal items will be handed over to the police.
4.7 The organisation is authorised to deny further access to the event to persons who violate any injunction or prohibition mentioned in this article without the right to a refund of the paid entry fee.
5.1 Visitors enter the festival site and attend the event at their own risk. The festival organisation is not liable for loss, theft or damage to visitors' belongings. Any liability of the organisation is limited to the amount paid out by its insurer in the case in question.
5.2 The organisation is not liable for deviations in the programme. Furthermore, the organisation is not responsible for the content of programme sections.
6.1 The organisation may move the event to another date or location or even cancel it in the event of force majeure. In this context, ‘force majeure’ should be interpreted broadly and includes illness and/or cancellation of guests, strikes, fire, poor weather conditions, etc.
6.2 If the event is cancelled, the organisation will refund the entrance fee as stated on the ticket to the visitors. Refunds will only be made in the manner indicated by the organisation. Service charges or other damages will not be refunded.
7.1 Visitors must comply with the regulations and instructions of the organisation and competent authorities. If the organisation considers this reasonably necessary to maintain peace and order during the event, it has the right to deny visitors (further) access to the event or to remove them from the site where the event is taking place.
7.2 It is possible that image and/or sound recordings will be made of the event and the visitors and that recordings will be made public or reproduced. Cinekid is not responsible for publicly made material of other visitors and parties. If there are any objections to publicly made photo and film material by Cinekid you can always ask marketing@cinekid.nl to remove the photo by e-mail, invoking the child's privacy rights. Removal of photo and film material used by Cinekid will take place within ten working days.
7.3 Registration of the event without the express prior written permission of the organisation in any form whatsoever, including professional photography, filming and the making of sound and/or visual recordings, is prohibited, as well as reproduction of and/or copying from the Cinekid Special, daily newspaper, posters and other printed matter.
7.4 To enable the organisation to fulfil its legal obligations, visitors must be able to identify themselves upon request. This applies, inter alia, in the context of the Drank- en Horeca Legislation, from which it follows that no alcohol will be served to visitors under the age of 18.
7.5 Smoking is not permitted in tents and (temporary) buildings, except for any designated smoking areas. Any fines imposed on the organisation as a result of the visitor's violation will be recovered from the visitor.
7.6 It is not permitted to bring (domestic) animals during the event. Furthermore, it is not permitted to light fire(s) on the grounds and/or carry out commercial activities, and/or make offensive, discriminatory or insulting statements or carry or distribute such signs.
7.7 The organisation has the right to deny visitors access to the event if they do not comply with these rules or do not follow the instructions of the organisation. In general, this is the case if public order or safety is endangered during the event.
