Lars is LOL
After the summer holidays, Amanda – who is in Group 8 at school – is given an unusual assignment. She is to become a buddy for Lars who has Down Syndrome. It’s quite a challenge. She is scared the other girls and the cute boy Adam will think it’s weird, yet, at the same time, a friendship develops with Lars. The story in this candid, energetic film full of emotions is really moving.
Director Eirik Sæter Stordahl will be in attendance for the screenings on October 30th and November 1st at Pathé Amsterdam Noord to answer all your questions! Composer Benjamin de Murashkin + singer Sophia will be in attendance for the screenings on October 28th and 30th.
