Joep in the Tomato Soup
The young dishwasher Joep falls into a pan of tomato soup and an exciting new world.
Young Joep works as a dishwasher at a restaurant. With his bowl and washing-up brush, he steadily works his way through the enormous stack of plates and cutlery. Now and again, he can’t resist eating the scraps off some plates and those are the highlights of his job. One day he really wants to taste the tomato soup at the bottom of a deep pan. However, he falls in whilst trying to reach it and enters an exciting new world, perhaps too exciting even.

slightly absurdist film set in the minimalist kitchen Joep works in and the
large, cast iron pan. It is unclear where reality ends and the young dishwasher’s
imagination starts. It is clear however that a lot can happen in some leftover
tomato soup.
