The 7 new films in the VPRO Cinekid Top 100
This year, there are seven newcomers in the VPRO Cinekid Top 100. Check them out now!
The new films range from playful and funny to intimate and poignant and from animation to documentary. Four of the newcomers are Dutch and were screened at Cinekid Festival 2024. For the little ones, Tummy Tom and the Lost Teddy Bear offers a first-ever film experience. The cheerful animated film Fox and Hare Save the Forest was in the programme too, based on a book from the popular Vos en Haas series by Sylvia Vanden Heede and illustrator Thé Tjong-Khing. The other two new Dutch films are award winners! Documentary Liefjes won the Best Dutch Kids Film Award at Cinekid Festival and superhero film Superkrachten voor je hoofd won the Best Dutch Kids Film Audience Award.
