At the end of June and beginning of July, Cinekid will organise special screenings of Dikkie Dik en de verdwenen knuffel with a matching programme, together with various film theatres throughout the Netherlands.
During the Cinekid special, you will be prepared in advance to be able to participate well during the film, because it is a real ‘do, shout and dance along film’. After the pre-movie, you can use the Cinekid illustration sheets to help Dikkie Dik smell, meet new friends and find his bear. And even better... you can bring your own stuffed animal to the screening! During the craft activity, you can colour a nice colouring page or make your own mask. Perfect for the youngest audience first movie experience!
Dikkie Dik discovers to his horror that Bear, his dearest cuddly toy, has suddenly disappeared. Luckily, Dikkie Dik's friend Poes Muis comes to the rescue, because he cannot sleep without Bear. They join forces and start a merry quest full of adventures. An ordinary bed turns into a real trampoline and outside on the clothesline you can balance like a real circus artist. Together they discover new places like the meadow and the beach, and along the way they meet other animals they have never seen before. After a day full of fun and adventures, everything luckily comes back to its feet. Not only have they found Bear, but they have also made many new friends.

Cinekid presents brings the best new films to children across the Netherlands. The programme is a collaboration between Cinekid and national film theatres and consists of festive film screenings where children also get to work themselves! They get a look behind the scenes, take part in a quiz in the theatre and some theatres offer workshops on location. Among others, KNOR, Kung Fu Lion and KIDDO have already been presented in this way. Cinekid presents takes place during the spring, May and/or summer holidays. So children can discover new children's films all year round.
