During history class, Rinio, Marvin, and Dogla are captivated by the story of the mysterious Fort Buku, once the hideout of the Boni freedom fighters, enslaved people who regained their freedom and fought against colonial oppression. When the three friends hear about the unresolved disappearance of the fort, they decide to venture into the Surinamese jungle themselves. What starts as an adventurous journey into the past ultimately reveals a magical connection to their own heritage.
