ScreeningClub

A new addition to the programme, ScreeningClub Live brings Cinekid’s video library to the big screen. These industry-only screenings showcase new, exciting and unreleased children’s and youth films and series. 

The ScreeningClub Live has two screenings:

• International work in progress series - Pathe 2, 15.00-16:00
• Dutch Shorts by emerging filmmakers - Pathe 2, 16:00-17:10

International Work in Progress Series

This screening offers a sneak peek at promising episodic projects in development from across the international market. Cinekid is proud to showcase two series and one special aimed at children in three age groups: young children (3-6), children (7-12) and teens (13+), giving a broad look at children's content for every age.

Dutch Shorts by Emerging Filmmakers
This section highlights work by recent film and art school graduates who operate at the intersection of children's content and auteur short film. The three films selected for this screening build imaginative worlds that invite children to step outside the mundane and enjoy colourful, eccentric and at times surreal adventures. Whether they expand their current concept into a longer project or build on the craftsmanship they used to create these worlds, the makers behind these shorts show potential for further development and collaboration.
