Nuclear Boy

Aike is a seventeen-year-old boy who doesn't have many friends at school or at his scouting group. As a result, he spends a lot of time online, where he posts videos of his chemistry experiments. It starts with flames of all colors and even small, homemade bombs. The more followers Aike gets, the bigger the expectations become. So one day he gets the idea to build his own atomic bomb. Not to actually use it, but to finally impress his peers and parents. The experiment, however, quickly spirals out of control.

It's almost hard to believe, but Nuclear Boy is based on a true story! In the 1990s, David Hahn, an American boy scout and chemistry enthusiast, made the news because he was building a nuclear bomb.
