Nine-year-old Tatiana acts as an interpreter for her mother. But when she tweaks a translation, both mother and daughter face serious consequences.
Nine-year-old Tatiana translates everything from Dutch to Spanish for her beloved Mami. They are undocumented in the Netherlands and perform domestic duties in exchange for room and board. Out of fear of being deported, Tatiana fabricates a translation, putting both herself and her mother in serious jeopardy.
