Honey has just joined a new class and dreams of playing guitar in the school band with the boy she has a crush on. But there’s no time for music, she’s too busy helping everyone in her chaotic family. Then she discovers that her rebellious grandfather is still alive, and secretly goes to meet him. Could he be the one to teach her how to stand up for herself?

Honey was the audience favorite at just about every children’s film festival last year and is finally coming to the Netherlands. With sharp filmmaking and urgent themes, the film culminates in a well-known German supermarket chain with perhaps the funniest ending scene of the entire festival.
