K-pop helps fourteen-year-old Nay, who fled the war in Syria, get through sad times, and motivates her to dance.
The first time Nay heard K-pop music, she was seven years old and living with her family in Syria. Now she’s fourteen, has fled the war and lives with her mother and brother in the Netherlands. For her, doing K-pop dances and making Tik Toks is more than a hobby: she finds solace in the songs, and dreams of becoming a dancer.
