In our MediaLab, the VR headset opens up a whole new digital world. Fly to a distant planet, step inside a painting by a Japanese artist, or even see yourself from above. In the MediaLab, there are no boundaries.

AUGMENTED REALITY (AR)
AR blends the real world with a touch of digital fantasy. Wear your own virtual clothing designs, help an alien fix their spaceship, or swap your head for something completely different. Discover in the MediaLab how the online and offline worlds merge with AR.

ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE (AI)
In the MediaLab, children explore both the possibilities and the risks of AI. By experimenting with it and telling their own stories, they develop their own opinions.

GAMES
Play hide and seek in the shadows, pong with a toaster, or race a car with legs. In the MediaLab, children can try out the latest games. Every game nominated for the Cinekid Game Award is available to play in the MediaLab.

Cuddly soft robots, interactive projections, digital treasure hunts, and a quirky poetry generator. Children will find even more digital art in the MediaLab. Come along and explore all the artworks.

WORKSHOPS
The MediaLab workshops invite children to roll up their sleeves and get creative. They’ll come up with and tell their own stories using the technologies they’ve explored in the MediaLab. The result is a digital masterpiece—an animation, a 3D creature, fake news, or something entirely different. They can watch their work again when they get home.

MINILAB
Even the youngest visitors (aged 3 to 7) can get hands-on in the MiniLab with digital artworks. Guide robots through mazes or win the Cinekid animal race in the MiniLab.
