A Serious Thought

One evening, a little boy goes to bed, but instead of falling asleep, his head is racing with all sorts of thoughts. Dangerous, dubious, wonderful thoughts… Until a very serious thought occurs to him. If the Earth is just a tiny marble floating in space, and he is just one of many on that marble, does he matter? Pondering that question, the boy sets off on a little journey outside his home, where he begins to see the world differently and discovers simple, universal truths about his place in it.
