Fort Buku
Three friends dive into the Surinamese jungle in search of the mysterious Fort Buku, but their quest for history reveals a magical connection to their own roots.
During a history lesson, Rinio, Marvin and Dogla become fascinated by the story of Fort Buku, once a hideout of the Boni freedom fighters. These were formerly enslaved people who fought against colonial oppression in Suriname. When the friends hear that the fort later disappeared without explanation, they decide to search for it themselves in the Surinamese jungle.
Their journey turns into an adventure that brings them closer to the history of the Boni and to their own connection with the past.
