P.D.O. (Protected Designation of Origin)

Social-critical comedy about 11-year-old Walid, his sister Ptisssam and mother Latefa, who the French authorities ‘help’ to Frenchify their first names to make immigrants like them integrate better. The most absurdthing is that this idea turns out not to be fiction – it happened to the director as a child, thanks to a French law passed in 1972.
