The Council of Europe Series Co-production Development Award is a new prize worth €50,000 which was awarded for the first time this year. The PUBLIKUM Audience Awareness Award went to Hunnic Summer by director Nedeljko Kovacic and producer Maja Cenic. They win a customised audience research project worth €9,000. The award goes to a feature film that excels in connecting with its audience. This award, provided as services of a unique blend of anthropology, data, and IT to help filmmakers forge a deeper connection with viewers during the screenwriting process.
The Filmmore Post-Production Award for the best live-action project in development was won by Kittens from director Nova van Dijk and producer Maarten van der Ven. “The concept has proven itself in two successful seasons on television. This passionate team and their animals charmed this jury, while also standing out as an inspiring example of sustainable filmmaking. We feel confident that Kittens will do the same as a feature and purr its way to success at the box-office.”- The jury
