Are you a teaching professional who would love to share your input for Cinekid’s 2024 Schools Programme? Cinekid wants to hear from you!

Help to shape Cinekid’s Schools Programme!

Cinekid puts together its annual Cinekid Schools Programme based on the films submitted for Cinekid Festival. Aimed at pupils from primary school age to the last two years of secondary school, the programme includes a specially selected, unique film as well as an interactive side programme in the theatre itself – think workshops with costume designers, Foley artists, and voice actors. We can’t wait to hear what you think!

There are two ways for you to support the Cinekid Schools Programme:

Film evening for teaching professionals

Film evening for teaching professionals

Tuesday 2 April, 6 PM to 9 PMLocation: TBC (Amsterdam)
You can join our film evening to view new films (or clips from them) and share your professional opinion. Which film would be best suited to your pupils’ age group? Which themes are the most relevant to the target audience? And, equally important, which film don’t you like?   Cinekid is looking for professionals working in primary education, special educational needs, or other settings with pupils aged 4 to 12 years (group 1 to 8) or first-year secondary pupils, including those with special educational needs. As a token of thanks, all attendees will receive six free film tickets for Cinekid Festival 2024.

Watch and review films with your class

Watch and review films with your class

April to June, exact date and time to be agreed.Location: At school (the films can be streamed online and cast on an interactive whiteboard)
It goes without saying that your pupils’ opinions matter just as much as yours! Which is why Cinekid is looking for teachers who want to watch and review the latest films together with their class. If possible, a member of the Cinekid Education team will join you and the pupils and discuss pupils’ film reviews immediately after the screening. Cinekid will put together a film programme for each class according to the time you have available, the pupils’ ages, and their capabilities. The films vary from feature-length pictures to animated shorts and documentaries.   Cinekid is looking for professionals working in primary education, special educational needs, or other settings with pupils aged 4 to 12 years (group 1 to 8) or first-year secondary pupils, including those with special educational needs.
