Winners Audience Awards Cinekid Festival 2023

Today, the Audience Awards for Cinekid Festival 2023 were announced. The winners are determined by children who attended the festival across the country and cast their votes for their favorite films and series.
The Norwegian dance film Dancing Queen about the brave misfit Mina who wants to impress a popular hip-hop dancer was named Best Children's Film. The opening film of the 37th edition of Cinekid Festival, Jippie No More!, was awarded the audience award for Best Dutch Children's Film. The film tells the story of 16-year-old Jaap Peter 'Jippie' (Wesley van Klink) and his family, who are all challenged in love in their own way during the preparations for the eldest sister's wedding. The film previously walked away with the Youth Jury Award.
