Junior Co-production Market
An integrated two-day co-production market that enables financiers, broadcasters and producers to assess new and innovative children's projects across the film and television sectors. The market starts with a public pitch of all the projects followed by one-to-one meetings.
The Producers Programme is an international exchange programme for producers who want to expand their international network within children's media. The attending producers are nominated by our international partner organisations.
Cinekid for Professionals' digital video library offers more than 350 recent children’s productions from all over the world, with particular focus on European productions. The ScreeningClub offers buyers and programmers the opportunity to screen the productions in private screening booths for acquisition and/or programming purposes.
A three-day must-attend online and international event for everyone interested in children’s media. Participants will discuss issues of burning relevance and debate the future of the industry with experts in the field. In rapidly alternating sessions experts will tell you all about the development of their projects, the pitfalls and the roads to success from their own practices.
Cinekid Script LAB
A six-month script-training programme for writers with a film project aimed at kids. The training starts during Cinekid for Professionals in October and runs until the Berlinale the following February.
Cinekid Directors LAB
A vital new coaching programme (midweek) for directors with a dynamic children's film project in advanced development, with a tailor-made and hands-on approach.
A new national workshop organised by Cinekid and the International Documentary Festival Amsterdam (IDFA), with the support of the NPO Fund, and run in association with the Dutch public broadcaster and youth TV station Zapp. During the workshop, six talented filmmakers are given support to develop a film plan for a short children’s documentary, (web)series or podcast.
