Kids Kino Industry and Cinekid for Professionals join forces to launch Producers LINK

Kids Kino Industry and Cinekid for Professionals are joining forces to launch Producers LINK, a newly established programme for emerging producers of children’s content. The programme is designed to stimulate the production of top-quality children’s content and pan-European co-productions, and will provide crucial follow-up both during and after the two leading kids events in the Autumn.

The 25 producers selected for the first edition of Producers LINK are nominated by the following international partner organisations: Catalan Films, Croatian Audiovisual Centre, Czech Film Fund, Film Centre of Montenegro, Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Poland, Film Commission Sardegna, German Children's Media Foundation, Gigant Films, Greek Film Center, KIDS Regio, Netherlands Film Fund, Norwegian Film Institute, Polish Audiovisual Producers Chamber of Commerce (KIPA), Producers Guild of Poland  and Slovak Film Institute.
The programme will start in September and have its first residency at Kids Kino Industry (27 September to 1 October 2021), finishing at Cinekid for Professionals (19 to 22 October 2021). The list of successful participating producers can be found at the end of this release.
Kids Kino Industry is an international co-production forum and forms the industry component of Kids Kino International Film Festival that takes place September 2021 in Warsaw, Poland. Cinekid for Professionals is the industry arm of Cinekid Festival that takes place October 2021 in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
Kids Kino Industry and Cinekid for Professionals aim to stimulate the production of high-quality children’s content via international talent labs, a co-production market, promotion, matchmaking and knowledge-sharing via expert conference programmes. Both events are proven hubs for emerging production companies or producers looking to take the step into children’s productions.
Kids Kino Industry is focused on the Central and East European landscape, while Cinekid for Professionals retains a laser focus on the pan-European and international landscape.
