More people can discover Cinekid for Professionals from home. Cinekid for Professionals (CfP), the essential international industry event for everyone working in the children’s media sector, will bring its programme online this year.
From 19 to 23 October, all industry professionals can attend the online professionals programme of the 34th edition of Cinekid without travel limitations. The online CfP offers a fully curated programme with panel sessions, keynote speakers and discussions about relevant topics. It also provides opportunities to talk about new projects with the media community and broaden the professional’s network during the Junior Co-production Market and the Industry Forum. Cinekid for Professionals enlarges its reach through the new online platform which is being launched during our festival. Industry people worldwide can easily get in contact with Cinekid Festival and all participants.
Early bird discount
Accreditations for Cinekid for Professionals Online can be requested here. Cinekid offers two options, one accreditation that grants access to the Junior Co-production Market and the Industry Forum, and one for the Online ScreeningClub. For both accreditations, there is an early bird fee if you register before July 31st, 23:59 CEST.
Junior Co-production Market and Industry Forum
The Cinekid for Professionals programme includes the two-day Junior Co-production Market (JCM) on 22 and 23 October. This integrated co-production market enables financiers, broadcasters and producers to assess new and innovative children's projects across the film and television sectors.
The third edition of the Industry Forum will take place on 19, 20 and 21 October. Cinekid for Professionals spreads this conference programme over three days so that everyone in the children’s media can attend the must-see discussions about burning issues and debate about future film development and production. The programme for Professionals with themes and speakers will be published this summer.
ScreeningClub
To watch the newest children’s film and TV productions, the successful digital sales library ScreeningClub will be available from 19 October until 8 November. The library consists of more than 400 recent children’s productions from all over the world.
Cinekid is everywhere
The public festival will have its base as an online platform: Cinekid Thuis (Cinekid @ Home). This is the festival heart with films and daily programs full of live events, Q&A’s, workshops, games and more. On location, the festival will take place in 10 different venues throughout The Netherlands.
