The upcoming edition of Cinekid's Industry Forum, an annual event for all professionals in children- and youth media, will take place online on 19, 20 and 21 October 2020, and we're looking for presentation proposals!
The Industry Forum is part of the Cinekid Professionals Program and brings together children's media professionals, industry leaders, academics, and creative content makers to explore the current state and the future of children’s media. We offer an opportunity to be one of the speakers during our online and international conference programme, and reach an audience of international professionals with your story. New projects will be shared and talked about, issues of relevance in children’s media will be discussed, and exclusive looks both on and behind the screens are presented.
What are we looking for?
Are you a producer, director, writer, designer, animator, or still a media student? Everybody is invited to submit their presentation proposal: we are looking for presentations in the area of children’s media (target audience from 3 – 14 years old). Proposals may include, but are not limited to, best practices and/or case studies, research results, workshops, playful hands-on sessions, and digital projects. We encourage proposals that are innovative, engaging, and/or inspiring, and accept proposals from all professionals in any stage of their career.
Please send one PDF to [email protected], including:
- Explanation of the relevance of your proposal for our audience
- Synopsis of your presentation topic
Deadline for proposals is 5 August, 23:59 CEST.
What is next?
You will receive an email in the week of 17 August if your proposal is selected. When you are selected, you will present your proposal during one of the sessions of the Online Industry Forum, where you have 10 minutes to present, and the rest of the session will be a conversation between you, guests of the session and the moderator.
The complete list of speakers and the full programme of the Online Industry Forum will be announced in September 2020.
